Rosie Perez

KimRosie Perez (born Rosa Maria Perez on September 6, 1964) is an American actress choreographer, dancer, and activist. Her breakthrough role as Tina in Do the Right Thing (1989) was followed by White Men Can't jump (1992). Perez was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Fearless (1993). Perez's leading roles in movies include It Could Happen to You (1994) as well as The Road to El Dorado(2000), Pineapple Express (2007) as well as Birds of Prey (2018). Perez also earned three Primetime Emmy Award nominations (in 1990-1994) and a third Emmy nomination (2020-present) for her performance as the Flight Attendant. She has been in stage shows on Broadway like The Ritz, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Fish in the Dark. She was also a co-host on the ABC talk show The View during the series' 18th season. She attended Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood.
