Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actor, producer and singer is also an actress. An attractive and intelligent actress, she's an inspirational model for many Asian actors looking to make it big in Hollywood. After a series of appearances on popular television series her name was a household name when she was cast in The Ally McBeal legal comedy where she was Ling Woo. The fame she gained from the show was translated into movies like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. The actress then gave an amazing performance as Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time, she was also in part in the leading roles of some movies that were not a success at the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated movies like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia failed to produce positive results. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama series Southland allowed her to regain recognition as an actress of note. Liu is very careful in picking her roles to ensure that she doesn't become the victim of a hugely in-demand industry. While she's proud of her background, she is determined to not let this hinder her creative abilities.
