Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. After living with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was very traumatic. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and believed she would be able to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. Then she dropped out of the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy always wished to be an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to be a model.
